The U.S. Commercial Service offers valuable assistance to help U.S. businesses export goods and services to markets worldwide. For more information, please see the U.S. Commercial Service Web site.

As part of the U.S. Commercial Service Web Site small businesses interested in exporting now have a new online tool to help them tap into the global marketplace to grow their business.  Developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration, "Six Steps to Begin Exporting" is the latest tool in the national export Initiative to help entrepreneurs begin exporting.

Through our partnership with the Automation Alley International Business Center, companies receive assistance with global expansion initiatives. Small and mid-size foreign companies, international government entities and educational institutions are supported as they establish a presence in Southeast Michigan. Through these activities, Automation Alley helps area businesses prosper in the international marketplace and bolsters business in Southeast Michigan. For more information, see Automation Alley's Programs & Services International Business.
